Sasha L. Carswell completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000 and graduated with honors from North Carolina Central School of Law in May 2006. 

Prior to attending law school, Sasha worked as an investigator in the Child Protective Services division of the Lincoln County Department of Social Services.  It was that experience that led Sasha to return to law school so that she could be an advocate for families.

While in law school, Sasha was a member of the Law Journal and the Trial Advocacy Board.  She also competed in mock trials as a member of the National Trial Advocacy Team where her team advanced to the Regional Semifinals.  Other than national competitions, Sasha competed in intra-school Trial Advocacy competitions at North Carolina Central and was awarded First Place in the prestigious Willie Gary 3L Trial Advocacy Competition.  Sasha limits her practice exclusively to family law.
